The Information Governance Toolkit
Covering the core CHKS business, our membership services and coding and financial assurance businesses, we have reached a minimum of Level 2 on all of these toolkits. 

The Department of Health (DH) Information Governance Toolkit allows NHS organisations and partners to assess themselves against Department of Health Information Governance policies and standards. It provides assurance that an organisation maintains high standards and practices good governance in the handling of information.

Assurance and accreditation service qualifications and recognitions:


The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the sole national accreditation body recognised by the British government to assess the competence of organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. It evaluates these conformity assessment bodies and then accredits them where they are found to meet the internationally specified standard.

Our assurance and accreditation service is accredited by UKAS to ISO17021:2011 and clients who comply with our standards can be awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification

ISQua External Evaluation Association (IEEA) is a global organisation, which aims to inspire, promote and support continuous improvement in the safety and quality of health care worldwide.  

Our assurance and accreditation service and our standards are accredited by ISQua EEA. These awards demonstrate to our clients that our internal processes meet the requirements set out by this internationally recognised organisation.
