NHS Marketing in a Colder Climate

Thursday 8th October 2009

Venue: King's Fund, 11-13 Cavendish Square, London, W1G 0AN

As the NHS progresses through a sustained period of financial pressure and uncertainty, has the role of marketing in the NHS changed?  Should marketing continue to play a role in delivering the vision for Patient Choice?  Are marketing objectives still driven by market forces or internal imperatives?  Is market share and revenue growth more or less important than 12 months ago?  How have marketing information requirements changed?

CHKS, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and NHS Elect are facilitating the debate with thought leaders from across the NHS.  Chaired by Dr Gareth Goodier, Chief Executive of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we hope that the discussions will challenge preconceptions and provide clarity in an uncertain future, so that NHS marketing helps to drive organisations through this difficult period.

This event is by invitation only.  Please contact us if you would like to find out more about the day.  Download the programme here.
